Mountain View Equine Hospital is located off I-81 and just 15 minutes from the Virginia Horse Center in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We are located on a 129 acre farm owned by Rustic Ridge Farm. A full service hospital, MVEH provides state of the art procedures in surgery as well as assisted breeding and other major medical needs. Your horse will be comfortable in the well lit padded stalls and peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding 186 acres.

Dr. Scott Reiners and Dr. Wynne DiGrassie just came back from the American Association of Equine Practitioners meeting in Baltimore, MD.
They learned a lot about various new techniques and procedures and would be glad to discuss anything with you!
New addition to our rehabilitative therapies - THERAPEUTIC LASER THERAPY. We have just acquired a new spectravet therapeutic laser. Laser therapy has multiple uses such as reduction of swelling, faster healing of wounds, reduction of soreness, etc. We will be using this therapy as well as our others to help get your horse back on track faster for competition. The laser joins our other tools used for rehabilitation including: Game Ready cold compression system, acupuncture, shockwave, and tui nai (Chinese manipulative massage). We will be available at the Virginia Horse Center to provide therapy to show horses that need a little help to get through the competition.
